London, 24/08/2023 – We’re excited to share that we’ve secured a place on the ‘finalists’ shortlist for the ‘Services Company of The Year‘ category at the prestigious UK IT Industry Awards! The UK IT Industry Awards stand as the biggest and most renowned occasion in the technology/software testing industry.
nFocus’ Managing Director, Ryan James, expressed his excitement, reflecting on the team’s achievements over the past year: “Looking back at the last twelve months, I’m filled with pride for our team’s accomplishments. We’ve supported more clients in a single year than ever before whilst continuing to receive outstanding feedback for our work. We continue to be the partner of choice to projects and programmes to support them with flexible testing resource and managed testing services. Our Academy has gone from strength to strength having now created 35 Junior Test Automation Engineers in under two years! To be recognised by the British Computer Society’s UK IT Awards is a true honour. Special thanks to our fantastic team, our partners and our clients for their loyal support. We look forward to celebrating with the industry at the awards night later in the year.”
The UK IT Industry Awards celebrates accomplishments of companies of all sizes throughout the United Kingdom. The selection process has led to the unveiling of the shortlisted companies across the main award categories, spotlighting those that have embraced innovative strategies or technologies to enhance business operations. BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT and Computing exist to celebrate the role of the IT professional: the positive impact they have on business, society and our planet. As organisations, we champion that, and the UK IT Industry Awards exist to recognise and lionise the people who are creating a better world through IT.
This year’s UK IT Industry Awards received a substantial number of entries and are organised in collaboration with BCS & Computing. Winning companies will receive awards that have demonstrated excellence within their sectors over the past year.
The judging panel evaluated finalists based on several criteria factors:
- Consistently meeting or exceeding challenging objectives to ensure the successful use of IT.
- Demonstrating a quality approach through organisational values and working practices.
- Evidence of meeting or exceeding the requirements and expectations of internal and external customers.
- Using innovative approaches or technologies to enhance the organisation.
- Able to demonstrate quantifiable performance improvements for the organisation through the achievement of key objectives and successful delivery of IT systems.
Stay tuned as the winners will be announced in November, with accolades presented to the top-performing companies. Winners at the UK IT Industry Awards are chosen based on more than the strength of a written entry. All UK IT judging is done 1-2-1 by multiple panels of IT leaders that are rigorously, stringently independent. Instead of reading the work of marketing teams, these judges question IT professionals themselves and mark them as peers. As a result, winners are celebrated for genuine success.
