14/02/24, Telford – nFocus Testing, a leading software testing and quality assurance company, is delighted to announce its selection as the preferred testing partner for the University of Leeds for the next three years, with the option of extending it for a further two years. This partnership will support the University in delivering the highest quality software solutions to their stakeholders within their ambitious transformation programme.
Following a rigorous and competitive tender process, nFocus Testing emerged as the ideal choice to partner with the University of Leeds. With their proven track record of delivering exceptional testing solutions in the Higher Education (HE) sector, nFocus Testing demonstrated a profound understanding of the organisations challenges and requirements.
The tender, issued by the University of Leeds, sought to procure two companies capable of providing test resources and expertise to support functional and non-functional testing. The University aimed to establish a framework that aligns with its values and responsibilities. nFocus Testing, renowned for its customer-centric approach and dedication to delivering high-quality testing services, perfectly matches the University’s requirements and embodies its values of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
nFocus has an exceptional track record within the HE sector and takes great pride in being chosen as the trusted partner for numerous universities. Another notable example of this is their partnership with Manchester Met University, who selected nFocus as their testing partner for an ambitious multi-year project replacing all the systems and technologies associated with their student journey with a more efficient and responsive system. By working with several HE organisations, nFocus have developed a deep knowledge on a huge range of applications, technologies and processes used only in the higher education space, putting them in an unrivalled position to accelerate testing in a higher education setting.
Andrew Peckett, IT Test Manager at the University of Leeds, said: “We have worked with nFocus for a number of years, enjoying a collaborative and supportive partnership. The nFocus team show dedication and accuracy in their work and have built strong relationships with key people. Through regular communication, we know that when support is required, this will be carried out promptly and accordingly. The partnership will support our current and upcoming projects and I look forward to further developing this in the future.”
Along with assessing the ability for nFocus to meet the technical requirements, the University also scored the tender for how well their partner shared the same values and responsibilities including collaboration, compassion, inclusivity, integrity, building relationships, equality, inclusion, engaging with the community, sustainability, climate action, research integrity and data protection. All values nFocus are proud to align with.
“We are honored to have been selected as the University of Leeds’ preferred testing partner” said Ryan James, Managing Director of nFocus Testing. “We have thoroughly enjoyed working with them over the past few years and are delighted that our higher education experience shone through during a comprehensive tender process. Our team is excited to continue supporting the University to achieve the right outcomes from their projects and programmes and ultimately deliver on their vision.”
